A constant ebb and flow

A course set and needing no correction

The magic of destiny

    There are times in life when it's necessary to set sail with no maps for guidance. No charts, no hint of what to expect. It's another voyage into the unknown. And what is unknown can be intimidating. Intimidation settles over the mind like a damp, cold blanket. It is illusion. Fear without substance. A fear melted away by the warmth of a spirit burning hot as a midday sun.
    Intimidation occurs at the most inopportune moments. The start of a new job. A court appearance. A simple visit to a doctor's office. When the ghost of intimidation settles all around you, remember my post from the recent past. A post in which I posed the question: "Would you trust Captain Morgan to lead you across a busy street as you shut your eyes and follow me?" It is an experience much the same. An experience at first filled with trepedation and concern. But an experience that dissolves into a fresh new perspective. There's a hand reaching out to you. Take it, close your eyes, breath deep and trust that all will be well. Believe in the magic. Believe in yourself. All will be well. And as the uncharted voyage ends you'll find yourself standing on the bow, wind on your face and the strength of another majestic sunrise shining down all around you.
